Becca had only been in her dorm room for a couple of minutes, and already she felt suffocated. So she gathered up her iPod, a book, a magazine, her bathing suit and towel, and some vitamin water in her Gucci bag and headed downstairs. She had her sunglasses perched on the top of her little nose as she read the map that said where the pool was. Wasting no time, she quickly found the perfect pool chair and grabbed her stuff to head for a cabana to change. Slipping on her baby blue stripped bathing suit, she headed out back her chair only to find that someone had took it, but left her bag alone. "Assholes" she whispered under her breath and picked up her stuff to move. After circling the pool a couple of times, a couple of girls got up and left, so before anyone else could take the spot, she sat in a chair.
Setting herself up, she laid out, put her iPod ear buds in and started to relax. I guess it isn't that bad here. I mean, compared to living with my mom who isn't ever home, it could be worse. Plus, there are some pretty cute lifeguards. After basking in the sun for about 10 minutes, she decided to grab her magazine and look around to study the people here. After all, she is going to be living with them for the next 180 days. She noticed that a couple of girls were diving off the diving boards and she felt that familiar sadness. Becca was on the diving team at her old school and it was really the only thing that kept her going through her family's breakup and when her and her mom fought about Becca's lifestyle. Deciding on a whim, she got up and walked calmly over to the smaller board. When it was her turn, she walked to the end of the board and did a simple flip off the end. When she emerged, it was to light applause. Smiling, she got out and sat back on her chair, feeling slightly happier.
